Skin Tag Removal
Skins tags are small growths made of loose collagen fibres and blood vessels surrounded by skin which form mainly in creases for example around eyes, neck, armpit, groin or under the breasts. Skin tags are completely harmless, but can cause inconvenience when catching on clothing or jewellery, however they can be easily removed with a Hyfrecator.
Hyfrecator treatments are safe & effective, cauterising the tag by the generation of low levels of electrical energy to target unwanted tissue. The heat it generates is effective and quick and should not cause scarring or hyper-pigmentation, post-treatment healing time is usually less than a week.
Milia Removal
Milia are very small, raised, pearly-white bumps on the skin, sometimes know as milk spots. They are a type of tiny cyst filled with the protein keratin, which has become trapped beneath the surface of the skin, most often seen around the cheeks, nose, eyes and eyelids, forehead and chest.
Milia is commonly treated using a hyfrecator, as its precision tip makes it possible for the practitioner to be very exact when it comes to targeting the tissue that needs to be removed. The Hyfrecator electrical pulses cauterize the skin over the Milia, allowing the contents to be extracted.
